What is your skin type?

Normal skin

'Normal' applies to well-balanced skin. The T-zone (forehead, chin and nose) may be a bit oily however (like Combination). Characteristics: fine pores, smooth texture and no blemishes.

Dry skin

'Dry' skin type lacks the lipids to maintain moisture and produces less sebum (oil). Skin can feel rough, tight and look dull.

Oily skin

'Oily' skin has an over production of sebum(oil) production and is often shiny with enlarged, clearly visible pores. Prone to black heads and acne.

Combination skin

Combination skin as the name suggests consists of a mix of skin types. Characteristics include; oily T-Zone (forehead, chin and nose), normal to dry cheeks and enlarged pores with pimples.

Wrinkles and fine lines

As all skin types age, skin loses volume and density and becomes drier with impaired skin barrier functionality. Characteristics include enhanced sensitivity and irritation, fine lines, wrinkles and changes in pigmentation.

Redness

Redness is caused by extreme skin dryness leading to impairment of its protective barrier which causes enhanced irritation. Characteristics include mild flakiness in patches, possible itchiness and tightness.

Puffy eyes

Puffy or swollen eyes can be caused by fluid retention, fatigue, aging and other factors. It's characterised by redness and swelling around the eye contour area and often accompanies under eye dark circles.

Dull

Dull skin is caused by dead skin cells build up that prevent your skin from reflecting light. Characteristics include an "ashy", non-glowing, grayish looking tint regardless of normal skin tone.

Acne

Acne is a skin inflammatory condition most common on the face, neck, shoulders, chest and back of blemish prone skin. Characterised by pimples and caused by infected oil glands the skin often appears, shiny, bumpy and inflamed.
