A lipid (or fat) that is naturally found in the skin and secreted by the sebaceous (oil) glands, Squalane oil actually helps to repair the barrier of your skin. It helps to prevent sun damage, which can have a premature aging effect on the skin, increases the luminosity and vibrancy of skin, and lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles making it great for dry and mature skin types. 

HOW DOES IT IMPROVE YOUR SKIN? 

Our pure, cold pressed variant in our formulas is naturally sourced from plants, for example, olives and sugar cane and is great for softening or smoothing the skin as it helps to support the natural outer barrier of the skin. One of the reasons it makes for such an effective moisturizer is that our skin recognizes it instantly, since it's a form of a substance our bodies naturally produces  enabling deep down penetration.
